records of Mini-Campaign IX have been lost, which means that it probably never occurred. No trace of Mini-Campaign IX can
be found in the Indy Squadron Dispatch, which attempts to record every mission ever flown. The odds of a three to five-game
campaign simply not appearing in ISD are virtually non-existent. It
is far more likely that Mini-Campaign X was misnamed through a typographical error and the error was repeated in succeeding
issues and again when Mini-Campaign XI was set up. Rather than go back and rename every article covering a mini-campaign,
it is easier and more understandable to let the error stand.
